What is Watizit?
Watizit (pronounced like "what is it") is the online version of an idea-generating technique used by Dave Dufour in live seminars, online brainlining, and other creative sessions around the country. It is a compelling visual version of the random word technique. It creates a randomly selected graphic and allows you answer the question "What is it?" The answers you develop can be used to create novel approaches to solving a pre-defined problem.

Interestingness
Interestingness!
Flickr is becoming more photo sharing.
Now there's interestingness. Strange word but interesting new Flickr Feature.
There are lots of elements that make something 'interesting' (or not) on Flickr. Where the clickthroughs are coming from; who comments on it and when; who marks it as a favorite; its tags and many more things which are constantly changing. Interestingness changes over time, as more and more fantastic content and stories are added to Flickr.
They've added some pages (and changed some existing ones) to help you explore Flickr's most interesting content. Check it out.

Social Networks. Growing or fading?
Social Networking is still an "unknown" in many countries More than one-half of adults surveyed in 17 countries do not know what social networking is, according to Synovate. The company said it asked over 13,000 consumers in Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the US if they were familiar with social networking.
Synovate noted differences in individual countries and among demographic segments. For instance, awareness was higher among younger users which correlates with membership by age in such sites as Facebook, My Space and Flickr.
